The Bed Sheet Caper!

Yesterday I was reading Gary Fong’s blog.  And he was raving about how much he loved the sheets he was sleeping on in Rome so much that they made him oversleep.  Anyway, he has raved about his 650 thread count sheets from time to time on his blog, so I became curious. I talked Melissa into looking for some. We found some 600tc at http://www.overstock.com for $70.00.   But while looking there I found some “Luxury Sheets” at over $1000.  Yeow.  Anyway, she left my office and I continued to browse and ordered some memory foam as well.   The order confirmation came in:

which I promptly forwarded to her, but not before doing a little typing over the original…

 

When she saw that she freaked.  She could just imagine the cat’s sharpening their claws in those sheets.  She was freaking out that I would spend over $1000 for sheets.   It was pretty funny — for me — but I quickly let her in on my trick.  It is amazing she stays married to me!

We are currently sleeping on 300tc sheets she got from QVC a few years ago.  It will be interesting to see the difference.  I am also interested in the Memory Foam and see how that works out.

So what does this have to do with my Photographic Journal?  Well, not much other than it started with me reading one of my regular photography blogs that I read.
