I have been wanting to practice outside shots using a fill flash and a LightSphere II. As luck would have it, Michael stopped by with Megean today, and I took advantage of the situation. Michael detests having his picture taken and it is always a battle to get him in front of the camera. And, when I do, his facial expressions clearly indicate his dislike of the whole ordeal. Megean is much more agreeable. As such, I offered to take pictures of them and Megean got Michael to agree. I like the results.

Well Here I Go...

Today was my birthday. I turned 48 years young today. I went golfing today with Rob. We played best ball. He gave me some noodle balls. My 1st tee off with them was like "look out Tiger Woods". The ball powered off my club -- went straight as an arrow -- and ended up like 20 yards from the hole. But due to our horrendous chipping, we ended up paring the hole.

Later that evening, Melissa and I went up to the Scott County Fair.


I had a steak sandwich and she had a cheeseburger. I took some photos of the motorcycle drag races.



This girl knew how to ride and whooped the boys asses.
